TALLYWREN / RETAILER GUIDE

Choose the pages worth
watching.

A practical starting point for independent online retailers who want useful supplier page changes—not a bigger list of tabs.

Choose a useful page, not just a supplier link.

Use these three checks for each product. They keep the monitoring list connected to the work your store actually needs to do.

01

Start with products you sell

Prioritize supplier pages for products already in your retail catalog, especially items where a price or stock change would affect what shoppers can buy from you.

02

Confirm it is the product page

Open the URL and check that it leads to one specific product—not a supplier homepage, category page, search result, or a page that only works after signing in.

03

Look for useful current signals

Before saving the page, make sure the page visibly shows a current price and availability status for the product or selected variant you care about.

Record your name next to the URL.

Supplier names and retailer names do not always match. Keep the product name from your own catalog beside the supplier page URL so you can recognize the item when a change is ready to review.

Use one row per product page.

Retailer catalog product nameAlder Ridge mug
Supplier product page URLhttps://supplier.example/products/alder-ridge-mug

The URL above is a sample format. Replace it with the actual supplier product page for the product in your store.

Bring the shortlist into a reviewable workflow.

Tallywren keeps the decision with you: supplier pages provide the context, and you decide what belongs in your catalog.

Save your retailer-facing product name and the supplier product-page URL together.

2
